Never tried downhill biking but always wanted to?  Defy Gravity 101 is the best value program for riders looking for a fun and affordable introduction to Sugarloaf Bike Park. Your guide will teach you the ‘ins-and-outs’ of the bike park and help you improve your bike control skills. If you feel confident on a bike but have never ridden in a downhill bike park before, Defy Gravity 101 is the best way to start!

- 1 day pass
- 2 hour bike rental (includes full face helmet, shin guards & elbow pads)
- 2 hour guided instuction
 **After the session you can rent the bike for the remainder of the bike park operating day for an additional $30.00 (available only with this program)

In an effort to get more people to try the bike park for the first time we are going to offer the Defy Gravity 101 program FREE of charge on Thursday and Friday afternoons from 3pm to closing time. This offer is valid for 1 time only per person. It will be offered on a first come first serve basis and only if bikes are available, We will not be accepting reservations for the free version of the program.

Improve your skills quickly through a  coaching session with one of our downhill bike instructors.  Explore Sugarloaf's Bike Park and receive personalized attention in a customized format specific to your skill improvement needs.  We can design a program for any ability level.  Organize your own small group or keep a coach all to yourself.

2 HOUR PRIVATE LESSON -- $60.00   1 to 6 People

About Us

Sugarloaf Provincial Park’s downhill bike park, designed and built by Whistler’s Gravity Logic, offers something for everyone.

Beginner riders will love the smooth, gentle cruisers. Intermediate riders will have a blast on the twisty single track. Experts will find a challenge on the tight, steep and rocky black diamond trails. Most everyone will surely get hooked on the fast and flowy jump trail.

The trails are jam packed with burms, table tops, drops, step ups and wooden features making a trip to Sugarloaf Park a must!
